60N sailing was started in 2020 by keen local sailor Robert Thomson, enthusiastic to introduce as many people as possible to the wonderful but often overlooked cruising grounds around Shetland & Orkney, by offering locally based yacht charter.

In March 2024 Campbell Dickie another keen local sailor bought Sparkling Spirit and took over the charter business. Campbell and his partner, Emma, operate the business from their home in Cullivoe on the island of Yell - an area with some excellent sailing and well appointed local marinas.
